Kit Digital in 2026: what's left and what you can do

Calls closed · no open period for new applications

The Kit Digital calls are over and new vouchers cannot be requested today. In January 2026 a ministerial order opened the door to allocating unused funds. Here is what it means and what options your business has.

Programme status

From calls to leftover funds

The programme to help SMEs and the self-employed go digital, run by Red.es and funded by the EU's NextGenerationEU, no longer accepts applications, but it remains in force until its funds run out.

  1. 2022 – 2025

    Calls by company size

Red.es opened calls for SMEs and the self-employed according to their headcount. Each business received a voucher to hire digitalisation solutions from an authorised provider.

  2. 2025

    Applications close

Acelera Pyme states that the programme's calls have ended: no new vouchers can be requested since then.

  3. 28 January 2026

    Order TDF/39/2026 in the BOE

The programme remains in force until funds are exhausted. Red.es must reinvest unspent money and may make grant proposals to applications that ran out of credit.

  4. Today

    No open period

The order does not open new applications by itself. Any allocation of funds or new call will be announced through official channels.

What now?

It depends on where the programme left you

You applied and ran out of credit

This is the case that may benefit most from Order TDF/39/2026: if funds are available, Red.es may make you a grant proposal. Keep an eye on your file on the Red.es e-office.

You have a voucher granted

Check in your file the remaining deadlines to sign agreements and justify. If you need help making the most of it, tell us and we will look at it together.

You never applied

There is no open call today. We can plan your project with a fixed quote and in phases, so you can start without waiting for a grant.

Can I apply for Kit Digital today?

No. The calls have ended and, as of September 2026, there is no open period for new applications.

What does Order TDF/39/2026 change?

Published in the BOE on 28 January 2026, it keeps the programme in force until funds run out, requires Red.es to reinvest unspent money and allows grant proposals for applications that ran out of credit. It does not open a new call by itself.

I ran out of credit — do I need to apply again?

The order provides for Red.es to make grant proposals to those applications when funds are available. Check the notifications in your file on the Red.es e-office.

Is there a similar grant open now?

Kit Consulting is not accepting applications either. It is worth following the BOE and the Acelera Pyme website. Meanwhile, we can quote your project in phases so you do not have to wait.

Why are the European Union logos shown?

Because this page reports on a programme funded by the European Union (NextGenerationEU) under the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, and the logos identify that funding.
